Can someone explain to me what that “thing” in btw Kenneth’s nose and lips is?! HUH?!
Why in the world does he have a MUSTACHE? His other-wise flawless look, is ruined! I’m not a fan of mustaches as you can tell haha. For some reason, w/ the mustache, it makes me think Kenneth is a sort of guy from decades ago! It looks like some old-shanghai style look (something for Sunny Chan haha…I just picture him) Will they somehow remove it somewhere into the show…I don’t want him to die like that! lol. And Gallen…oh..the beard.. -_-….and Sharon’s bangs! Why? Why do all the ppl I care about look so…odd? Oh well, Kenneth doesn’t look that bad. Maybe the mustache is suppose to give him a sexy twang?

Wait, so Sharon’s dating Gallen?! I’m super confused. So, Bernice’s character was supposed to originally date Gallen, but….the TVB ppl said it was BK….this is so complex. And since all Ray, Anita & Gallen are not related, does that make Kenneth the only blood relative of Gallen’s? So he’s in on Gallen’s plot?

Toby Blog Stalking Part IV: Her Comment replies!
First off, I think this is part IV. I’m too lazy to check! I’m very disappointed that Toby got cut from the cast as well (She’ll be filming some Mainland series w/ Ray and Bosco) and has been replaced by Grace. I guess she shouldn’t have so much Kenneth in a row or else she’ll really fall for him! haha. I actually preferred the original two girls over the new two ones. I like Sharon, but you know, it’s BK! As for Toby and Grace, I’ve always liked Toby since her singer days but I was disappointed when she turned over to acting. Wow, Grace’s first series and already a Grand Production! (I have a feeling that her acting may not be that great…maybe cuz of the accent … I hope I’m wrong) I’m not feeling the haircut for Sharon from the costume fitting either!
Back to Toby. I was looking forward for her to work w/ Kenneth again so I could Sharon and Toby blog stalk. I know Grace will probably take pix w/ Kenneth too, but she has a TVB blog and it’s so censored. Toby at least make her own posts.

Kenneth’s only in the screencap shown before in the end. Same for Bernice.The theme of Monopoly is cute. Somehow, it feels a little superficial though, like it’s just a vague storyline that’s not scripted yet, but I’m expecting it to be good…it better be!
General Chai & Lady Balsam
Kenneth is yet again in for very limited time. He’s near the end and screaming. He’s one of the revolutionaries? Is that what you call them? haha. The series looks good. I love historical stuff!
The Dance w/ the guys and tatoos… It was James Bond themed.
It was very short, and not very entertaining it looked. Not enough closeups… this year really isn’t that great. I miss the Artist Extravaganza, where Kenneth got to sing and stuff. At least each artist got to “sell” themselves. At these things, it’s just a mess! At the end of the clip, at like 5.38 you see Kenneth with crazy (reminiscent of Bosco in WOILII) hair…how scary haha. I’m glad he didn’t walk onto stage like that. I guess it was part of the process of his styling. He was standing next to Tavia.. haha. interesting….

The above blog has posted the translation for the storyline. There’s nothing on Kenneth in the main plot, but it’s sounds interesting. So Gallen’s the 2nd brother. I would guess that Kenneth’s the legitimate brother of Ray Lui? Sounds very confusing and interesting…

Hi Valli,I know what happened to Bernice now…she’s going to be filming a Hollywood movie….”The King of Fighters”….its going to take up 2months time, hence no time to film the TVB series.
Bernice Liu has left for Canada to film western movie, tonight she will not be able to attend TVB Anniversary Gala.The movie has started filming in Canada, 2 months later than scheduled. This was a difficult decision for Bernice who has a very tight schedule, but since this is her first attempt into international market, she had to decline commercials, even (performances) during Christmas and New Year, when it is artistes “golden period” to make money. Her role in new series 金錢誘罪 had to be changed, her approximate loss is in 7-figure (HK$), apparently this new movie is very important for her.
In the mist of this depression, I’ll try to rewatch Into Thin Air…haha…and rant about it lonesomely in the BK thread or here. As for now, will rewatch this fanvid of BK that I made!

Also, Raymond’s fans screaming for Ma Ming at last night’s awards ceremony because Raymond’s fans were standing in front of Ma Ming’s fans and they knew that Ma Ming’s fans had a ticket limitation to go to the ceremony. So, Raymond’s fans helped them scream for Ma Ming’s name. The media and Ma Ming were confused because the fans were holding Raymond signs, but screaming for Ma Ming’s name.
Nice to hear that all fans are among friends. Very nice! hyn5 also posted that Kenneth won’t be in DIEII because the director of “Grand” won’t allow him to run from series to series. Wow. Very serious director…I won’t if he had a role in not allowing Bernice to film….?

Kenneth Ma, Alice Lau and Amigo Choi appeared at a skin care centre promotion as spokespersons. The three of them were all faced with skin problems in the past. Kenneth Ma indicates that he’s been having skin problem since high school. He even went to do facials with his mother and used his sisters’ skin care products, but nothing worked. He said because of this, in the past he felt inferior, and lacked confidence. He was asked if girls disliked him because of his skin problems, and he replied “No, there was no opportunity to meet girls, because I went to a all-boys school, and because of my looks I didn’t dare go meet girls. I felt a little inferior.” Now that your skin condition has improved, do you feel more confident about meeting girls? Kenneth feels that “guys don’t have to be handsome/good looking, being healthy and clean and putting effort into their career is enough (to attract girls).”Mentioning that he has three nominations for this year’s TVB awards, he was asked if he has confidence in winning. Kenneth replies that he is neutral about it and has no pressure about winning them. Instead, he jokes that he’s more concerned about the Sales Presentation, because he needs to do a coquettish dance with other SiuSungs such as Kevin Cheung and Ron Ng.
Comments: First off, Kenneth looked very cute at the function. Loved his outfit. Aw…he felt inferior and was afraid to meet girls… No wonder he became so shy. He’s right though, looks aren’t the most important thing! But Kenneth is so darn cute haha! What’s up with Bella and guns? A little violent aren’t they? It started off as a small pistol last time and now it’s a rifle?! haha. I hope that’s not Kenneth’s phone he’s talking on…cuz that heart thingy is very girly haha.

Sandra Ng indicates that she’s good friends with Margie Tsang. Talking about the pervious rumours that indicate Margie and Kenneth were dating; Sandra said she called up her good friend to learn more about the gossip, yet in return Margie scolded her, and said that if she was dating she would of course tell Sandra. Hence Sandra is certain that Margie did not date with Kenneth.
Comments: Haha. I thought the rumors were over? Stephan Chan bringing that up again? Well at least it got Kenneth’s name in the news. I remember how Sandra said MaMing was the TVB siu sang she felt had potential. Maybe they’ll get to work together someday!

He said that there are about two weeks left of filming for ‘General Chai’ (haha. poor Toby will be heartbroken…) He is anticipating the Grand production with Gallen and is really excited since he will be playing Gallen’s younger brother! yay. he’s one of the brothers. I think someone in the forums almost mentioned he’s confirmed to die midway and that something about DIE2. I don’t know… I tried to babelfish it haha.
Also, apparently some Raymond fans were there (from a blog of one of them – I babelfished that too haha) and they were screaming Kenneth’s name. They kept screaming MaMing! making reporters and everyone look at them. Kenneth seemed confused that they were screaming his name while holding signs that said “Fung” on it! haha. that’s cute!

Bernice is not in the 40 episodes series anymore. Ma Ming said so himself. Now, Sharon will be in it. TVB arrange for Bernice to be in a Western movie, that is why she wasn’t at the awards ceremony. No Ma Ming and Berncie!
Truly, I’m devestated. Stinkin’ TVB. Darnit! He was so excited about this production and it would’ve been perfect! I knew it! I knew it! It was too good to be true. Since the news leaked, I kept telling myself to not get my hopes up and guess what I did? When the Sales Presentation screen caps came out, I let my hopes get up! And now I’m heartbroken! Argh TVB, if they didn’t say there’d be BK in the first place, I wouldn’t be so upset. I would’ve been content w/ Kenneth and Sharon. And they do this?! I thought there had been negotiations about Bernice in a western film since last year. Shouldn’t they have known sooner? grr….. I’m agravated, but there’s nothing that can be done now.
I’m just surprised Kenneth fans found out before Bernice fans. So that explains why she was a no-show at the Anniversary. Is she somewhere else right now? I’m selfish, I want BK haha.(I want the film to be pushed back so they’ll replace Sharon w/ Bernice again!)
Someone go and ask Kenneth to find Bernice and take a few nice photos with her to make us all happy again! haha. Yet another year without BK….how long do we have to wait… even Berray/Ronnice/Bobe/Bermo fans have it way better than we BK fans do… At least they attend functions together and take pix together!

Wow. So Kenneth said there are other arrangements regarding what will happen, but the info about Sharon was found on her forum. I thought TVB gave the role to Sharon, who told Kenneth this or something like that. Well I guess not…I guess Kenneth just happens to know everything when it comes to Bernice haha (yes. let me be..I can dream can’t I?) This aggravates me more… Kenneth gets to be a villian, he gets to die, he gets to be in his first grand production…and it was suppose to be w/ Bernice! It would’ve been perfect…why oh why?!

First off, I have not seen the show yet, but I know the results now. Kenneth looked so hott in his outfit. Very nice outfit. It was classic yet unique. I didn’t have high hopes for what he would choose to wear, but this totally shocked me. I love the hair as well. He didn’t gel it all the way up. I like it both ways, but this was different. (did he perm his hair too? Well it doesn’t look weird so that’s good) I love the tie. Simple yet charming! The gems were cute. He totally outshined Ron haha (who was plagued not only by a shaved head, but FUR! OMG. Well then again, Kenneth pulled off fur the year he won so…) I kinda knew he’d walk w/ Kate or Selena, but I didn’t know he’d walk with both haha. One for the carpet and one for the entrance and Ron was with him both times. That’s an interesting combination. I’m so upset that Bernice didn’t show up for the Anniversary, I hope that doesn’t mean anything bad. (She better still be in on the Grand production w/ Kenneth!)
I’m pretty satisifed w/ the results with minor exceptions, but it’s definitely a lot better than last year! Very happy w/ Paul Chun and his award, maybe Benz Hui will get one of those someday, cuz I don’t think he’ll ever get the Best Supporting! Very happy for all the deserving winners!
So happy that MK Sun made it into Top 5 for Most Favorite Male Character! I wonder what Kenneth got to say cuz from the screen caps it looks like Amigo went up and asked them stuff. Wonder what they said in the entrace as well! Also, he’s very good w/ escorting it seems (maybe it’s the years of practice when he was a cameo where they had to escort Award Presenters out). His posture, the angle of his arm and everything looked so charming….especially (no offense) compared to Ron who stood with not as great posture or maybe it was the fur…haha. I just realized he looks so charming because he walks with one arm in back! Is Kenneth getting into his Hugo character again? Oh well, I hope he looks like that for Grand Entrepreneurs! hehee…
1st pic – Interesting, a think a fan pointed out Kenneth, yes back there, behind Kate (you can see his hair) and it seems he’s talking to Nancy? (the shoulder w/ the long thin strap) Here’s a pic for comparison of the shoulder haha – Was it me, or was there a lot of very low, cleavage showing dresses this year? It seems like everyone, who we never expected to have much, all of a sudden had a “lot” that night lol.

They are very cute! Glad that I heard their interview right before seeing them appear together again! haha. they are such good friends. Sharon threatens to disown Kenneth if she finds out he didn’t vote for her. He said he did and when Sharon said that he’s getting an award tonight, Kenneth was like “No, you are.” Sounds a lot like the conversation Myolie mentioned in an article that she and Kenneth had in 2006…and what happened then? He got an award! I don’t think we’ll have such luck this year!

Lau Dan complimenting Kenneth & Kate
Too bad this clip was cut short (anyone have the rest of the clip?), but Kate was talking about Speech of Silence and Carlo was asking her about her collaboration with Kenneth. Near the end of the clip, she said that she likes working w/ Kenneth cuz even when he/she aren’t being filmed (closeup), he/she would still give emotions so the other person can get into the role. Carlo laughed and asked Kate if maybe MaMing only does that for her, and she got a little defensive, saying…I believe Kenneth’s a very professional actor, don’t say that about him!

As much as I <3 Kenneth, I felt that he looked weird on the night of the presentation from the looks of the pictures. Something about his make up…looked like he was artificially tanned or something. I just can’t place it and the hair was weird. He looked so good just a day or two ago at the Bella Anniversary function (I liked his hair and look there)! Oh well. I liked how he looked at the praying ceremony in his white zip up though. His hair was very simple and looked cute as well. I think we’ve seen him in that zip up before? Was it in black before or the same one?

Wow, I’m completely shocked that Sammul voted for Kenneth for Best Actor! I’m not shocked that Ella voted as she did because he was her costar. While Sammul may have wanted to support MK Sun and SLII, well quite frankly, I didn’t think he’d vote against the tide! haha. Go Sammul! lol. I guess that totally dispells the rumor about them not being friends! As for those who voted Kenneth for Best Supporting, we obviously know that they voted for him because they like him/good friends with him. There is no way, they really think Mai Fung Nin from Tai Chi is really deserving…they just would like to see him get something since they like him! He’s a good actor, but not really ready for Best Actor Yet.
Now that I think about it, Ella made some really odd choices. haha. She chose Linda for Best Actress? Toby for Most Improved and Bernice for Best Supporting? Tsui also for Best Supporting… I guess she went with her friends? Also kinda surprised that Loretta Chow chose him for Best Supporting…
Timmy obviously just went down the list choosing ppl he’s best friends with. lol. Not that they’re not deserving, but you can tell there’s a biased. lol.

So does this mean that Sammul is contracted now? I’m so confused. lol. I’m not sure if BK are even in the Grand Entrepreneurs clip and I wouldn’t be shocked if they weren’t, considering that they don’t always put everyone in the series in the clip esp. when they aren’t the leads.
Can’t wait for the complete clip! Looks so good.

Someone posted the 2009 Programme Book and it’s looking like a very Ron-full year! There is currently no Kenneth but only part of the booklet is up and he still has his unaired series.

This interview was really cute. Sharon was a guest host for the show and had previously invited her “family” onto the show including younger sister Rain Li, Older Sis Christine Ng, and Big Bro Joel Chan. So the host asked her who the tall handsome guy this time was and Sharon said that he isn’t her brother/sister. The host then asked if he’s her lover then, and she said no, that he was her good friend Kenneth.
They welcome him onto the show and the hosts pokes fun at him, saying that she heard that he doesn’t talk much, that he’s really introverted. And he replied that he is w/ a chuckle and also said he doesn’t know what to say (he’s so cute!)
The host asked Sharon if Kenneth’s really that shy and she said he is, but not with her (aw…). Kenneth was asked whether he has very few ‘female friends’ and he said Yes. (Wow, I always thought Kenneth had a lot of female friends, but turns out he has more guys friends. I guess Kenneth’s just one of those ppl with lots of friends, but only a few close friends..and the really close ones just happen to be guys. It just so happens that his female friends like Nancy, Myolie, and Selena talk more about him as opposed to the guys)
Haha, the host even mentioned that his voice is very… uh..sexy/deep …however you say it. And Sharon chimes in to say he sings very well.
They talk about how they met, and Sharon even said at first Kenneth didn’t really speak to her and she had to initiate convo during the filming of Dreams of Colours. (Kenneth said that they were not close when he “guest starred as Sharon’s bf in Survivor’s Law & Summer Heat etc….he later corrected himself saying that it wasn’t guest-starring since he was an extra back then – he’s so humble) Sharon said that Kenneth took care of her during DOC and though he didn’t teach her stuff, he gave her advice and they talked alot.
The host laughed at Kenneth for being “cool” for not talking to Sharon and he said he wasn’t that he just didn’t know what to say. Sharon went into saying that it’s hard to find friends in the industry, but Kenneth and her relationship will never change. They wish the best for each other and she would message him when he has a new series and comment on it. It’s funny how when Kenneth was saying that Sharon is one of the few ‘girl’ friends he has that he is actually brave enough to really talk to, the host asked him why he’s afraid to talk to girls. Sharon says Kenneth treats her as a boy and laughs that Kenneth’s too shy to talk to girls.
Kenneth keeps looking to Sharon for guidance and Sharon tells him to speak himself. Kenneth admits that they share secrets and Sharon says he knows she’d never tell anyone about his secrets. Sharon also feels that Kenneth is very dependable, but not doesn’t give her a brother feeling like Joel does. Yet, she doesn’t feel like he’s a girl, he’s just a very special person that she wants to tell things to …a listener…
Sharon says she would be truly happy if Kenneth became “big” and that if he ever got an award, she would cry. She says that she would be very happy for everyone she cared about (aw..that’s so sweet).
When asked whether they would ever like each other, Kenneth says he doesn’t know (haha. the typical awkward Kenneth answer). He also says she knows too much about him though.
The host asked whether Kenneth can cook, but he said he couldn’t. Sharon said it would be plus if a guy learned to cook for u. (Kenneth said he’d learn to cook for a girl he really liked) She also said that in DOC, thanks to the script for saying she doesn’t like Kenneth as much as he likes her, or else she would have fallen for him (haha. Sharon just knows how to make Kenneth awkward).
Sharon laughs that the show has become a dating show, and the host laughs saying that she was just trying to see how quiet Kenneth can keep. Sharon says that whenever you say things like this, Kenneth can’t even look at me…(haha…too cute).
They laugh at how Kenneth likes Donald Duck. His mom’s fav cartoon is also Donald Duck. Sharon would buy stuff for him when she sees them but feels like shes buying stuff for her nephews. His Mom bought him his first Donald Duck during a Japan trip in 1985 (wow that’s older than me!) and he’s liked it since then.
They say that Kenneth is very loyal/faithful and the host says that’s adding points. Sharon says she always knew that Kenneth was loyal, faithful, and filial…and she keeps selling him. Kenneth admits that he talks to Donald Duck (and the girls were like “He’s so cute…”) and that his Mom and him have bday parties for them.
haha. I think Sharon was beginning to be a little creeped out by the Bday parties and that his Mom treats it like her grandson (haha. Kenneth needs to get married and have a baby soon or else! haha. )
The host asked what type of girl Sharon thinks Kenneth likes and she was like, I’ve always though he likes girls w/ long hair, not too fat/thin, and kinda “cute”… (Sharon say that that was only her opinion that Kenneth should stop pouting and he replies that he wasn’t pouting, he was just thinking…)..not like ‘retarded’ cute…but like a cute face…. and absolutely has to be very filial like him!
The host further ask Sharon to take some time to think which TVB actress she thinks is most like Kenneth’s type (telling her to disregard Kenneth’s feelings)
Kenneth admits that Sharon is sorta right about his type, but that he’s not big on looks…that as long as she’s OK looking to him then it’s fine. He’s actually afraid of girls that are too pretty. He remembers he had two classmates w/ really pretty gfs (they were mixed – oh so Kenneth thinks mix girls are hott?) and they were very hard to get along with. So he has that impression of pretty girls. He’s more into personality and he likes girls that are more “simple” (innocent).
Sharon’s answer: the slimmed down Myolie Wu. (Sharon was so nice to him, I don’t think she really meant it because she follows up by selling “To Grow With Love” saying that he’s chasing after her in the series and must feel someting for her right now) – the host laughs that Sharon is being soft on him!
Kenneth’s reply: He’s afraid to say whether Myolie’s his type (They laugh that he’s afraid of fighting w/ someone..and he say’s that’s one point) Also, he’s had very few scenes w/ Myolie until TGWL and they’ve been very plain friends …and he’s doesn’t really understand her very well ( like they’re not really close close)…
Sharon tells the host to stop asking Kenneth and the host says that she’s not gonna ask anymore that her conclusion is: Myolie is “no” and Sharon is “don’t know.” The host also says that Kenneth is not bad to talk to …actually he’s very enjoyable to talk to.
Aw…that is such a funny interview. I’m surprised to learn that Kenneth and Myolie aren’t that close. I guess they are just “friends” not “very good friends” like Sharon and Kenneth where they can share secrets. Kenneth is too cute for words. Note, this interview was during the airing of TGWL so that’s like 2006? That was before Kenneth got his Most Improved Award and Sharon seemed to already know (I guess it was very hyped up)…and said she’d be very happy for him if he got ! I wonder if she cried cuz we know that Yoyo teared up when Kenneth got it! I was really expecting Sharon to give an honest answer, but then again, she wouldn’t sell Kenneth out like that (or else he wouldn’t trust her like he does)! Weirdly, Sharon does fit all his characteristics, except I do feel she’s a little bit too extroverted for him …he may like not “too-shy” girls, but Sharon’s a little bit of a party-girl (It’s so amazing how Kenneth can be friends w/ Timmy, Sharon, Angela, Toby, and Christine, who are all such crazy extroverted ppl!)
I’m glad they are such great friends! I’d love to see them in a series together again (playing best friends or a couple)! I can’t believe I’ve never heard this interview before!
